Withdrawal and Termination Information
Information on the Consumer’s Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation

This page provides information on the right of consumers, in certain circumstances, to withdraw from or cancel a contract.

Please note that the initial contact made through our website takes the form of a request for quotation.
Submitting a request for quotation does not in itself constitute the conclusion of a contract and does not create any payment obligation. Accordingly, at the time a request for quotation is submitted, no contract is concluded from which the consumer would be required or entitled to withdraw.

When may a right of withdrawal or cancellation arise?

A right of withdrawal or cancellation may arise if, following the submission of a request for quotation, an actual contract is concluded between the parties, particularly where the contract is concluded remotely — for example, through correspondence by e-mail, online communication, or another form of electronic communication.

Where a contract is concluded by a consumer, applicable legislation may, in certain circumstances, grant the consumer the right to withdraw from or cancel the contract without giving any reason within 14 days.

In the case of a contract for the provision of services, the withdrawal or cancellation period is, as a general rule, 14 days from the date on which the contract is concluded.

Difference Between a Request for Quotation and the Conclusion of a Contract

The purpose of a request for quotation is to enable an interested party to obtain information about a particular service, including its availability, terms and conditions, or expected price.

Submitting a request for quotation:

  • does not constitute an automatic order;
  • does not constitute the conclusion of a contract;
  • does not create any payment obligation;
  • does not constitute a final reservation of the service;
  • does not create a legal relationship from which the consumer would, in itself, be required to withdraw.

A contract is concluded only when, following the request for quotation, the parties agree on the material terms of the service and the order or conclusion of the contract is expressly confirmed between the parties.

Commencement of the Provision of Services

If, following the conclusion of a contract, the consumer expressly requests that the performance of the service commence before the expiry of the 14-day withdrawal or cancellation period, the commencement of the service may affect the consumer’s right of withdrawal or cancellation.

If the consumer exercises their right of cancellation in such circumstances, they may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the services provided up to the date on which the cancellation is communicated.

If the service has been fully performed with the consumer’s express prior consent, and the consumer has acknowledged that they will lose their right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal or cancellation may no longer be exercised in accordance with applicable law.

Exceptions

  • Applicable law may exclude the right of withdrawal or cancellation in certain circumstances.
  • This may apply in particular where the service is provided for a specific date or during a specific period, for example in connection with an event, activity, leisure service, transportation, catering, or another service tied to a specific date or time period.
  • If a particular service falls within an exception provided for by applicable law, we will inform the consumer of this before the conclusion of the contract.
  • How can you notify us of your intention to withdraw from or cancel a contract?
  • As our website is used solely for submitting requests for quotation, we do not provide a separate online withdrawal or cancellation form on this page.
